While Western audiences will remember the game as Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Japanese Crash fans got an entirely different name. In Japan, The Wrath of Cortex was actually known as Kurasshu Bandikk 4: Sakuretsu! It roughly translates to Crash Bandicoot 4: Explosion!
If the page with the Release Dates is correct, Japan is the only region with a different name for it... They call it "Crash Bandicoot 4: Outrageous Multiverse". Maybe that was the title before they decided to use the "Punnier" it's about time.
